My background in graphic design is what led me to a user-centered approach with problem solving. It began at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where I chose to take a Human-Centered Design class (Shout out Deana McDonagh!) full of industrial designers. Being surrounded by a different way of thinking helped me learn how to take a step back and see the larger user needs and business impact.
